David Bridges named Global CEO of Wellcom Worldwide
In his role as CEO of Wellcom Worldwide, David leads a global effort to align best practices and further build out a world-class, integrated production offering. Wellcom aims to solve our clients’ biggest challenges with scalable, multi-channel, global content production solutions. David brings his knowledge of current business, technology and creativity to focus on the future of this industry.
David has over 30 years of experience innovating and expanding creative production businesses that service multinational Fortune 500 companies, boutique brands, startups and large advertising agencies. Prior to his role as Global CEO of Wellcom, David founded two creative production agencies which consistently challenged and expanded the definition of production services. Most recently he founded and lead thelab, which established mutually-lucrative on-site partnerships, and built a digital-first approach and a strategically-led creative services department. As a Wellcom holding thelab is now a part of the portfolio that David manages in his Worldwide role. Prior to founding thelab, David started ICON, the first photoshop based retouching business in New York City. He reinvented the process for producing quality creative production work and he sold ICON to Laser Tech Color three years later and stayed on as Northeast CEO.
When not looking forward with anticipation and enthusiasm to the road ahead for Wellcom, David can be found expanding the height of his doorways in his upstate New York home, as his son is surpassing David’s 6’7”. He also serves as an unofficial ambassador for Wellcom client La Aurora’s cigar brand, so will happily pass you a stogie at the next global meeting.
